About

NI TEKNA - Intelligent Technologies is a Research and Development company based in Macedonia, specialized for applications of Artificial Intelligence. We are focused on Research and Development in all fields where smart computerized solutions are of uttermost importance, starting from Business Intelligence up to Multimedia Processing and Cognitive Robotics.

The company NI TEKNA was founded in 2008, still our experience in Artificial Intelligence can be traced fifteen years backwards through various projects and applications.

We are not backed by some philanthropist or investment fund – we simply invest a great portion of our resources and funds into research for developing new innovative products.

Our Employees

Our company employs highly motivated and trained specialists who are constantly improving their methods of work and who were at the top of their classes at university. At the moment, two of our employees hold MSc degree, one is finishing his MSc studies, two of them have just enrolled at MSc level studies and one is planning to continue her education at postgraduate studies of Data Mining in France.

We also cooperate with a group of prominent scientists who are our close collaborators on various research tasks.

We have made concise our mission into our motto: Enlivening Artificial Intelligence. By this we mean to create new applications, by using and further developing the techniques of Artificial Intelligence, where the end result would seem as magic, as carried out by some live intelligent creature. Here we would cite one of the greatest authors of Sci-Fi - Arthur Clark: Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. We want to deal with such technologies.

The development department is to become a well-known, certified, trusted and respected development center working on advanced solutions for our customers. We are already trusted and respected, but only to our few customers that we have acquired in these first years. We want to enlarge this customer base, while keeping the good reputation along with the satisfied customers. Meanwhile, we intend to acquire some formal certificates in the near future.

Our vision for the research department is to move the frontiers of the cutting-edge research, advancing state-of-the-art technologies. We aim to connect with other research oriented companies, research institutes and universities, to work jointly on scientific projects. Ultimately, our vision for the research department is to become a research institute where our scientists will carry these activities.

Our name

"Ni tekna" in Macedonian means "We have invented it!" or "It is our idea!". In our name, our innovation cycle is sublimated: Thinking and the moments of creation and invention are all individual acts. First it was my idea, then I have presented it to my colleagues and we have discussed it. After improving it, we can proudly claim: NI TEKNA - We have invented it!
